Prof. Philip John Kanu is the Vice-Chancellor and Principal of Milton Margai Technical University. As the chief executive and academic officer, Prof. Kanu has been instrumental in the transformation of MMTU into a center of excellence for technical and vocational training in the sub-region.

Under his leadership, the university has seen a massive expansion in digital infrastructure, international partnerships, and the introduction of market-driven courses across the Goderich, Congo Cross, and Brookfields campuses.
